Koomilya

Koomilya is a distinctive fine wine project from McLaren Vale, South Australia, created by renowned Australian winemaker Stephen Pannell. Located in the historic Upper Tintara area, Koomilya is built around a unique vineyard and a deep commitment to expressing the character of place.

Stephen Pannell first discovered the vineyard in the 1990s and acquired the property in 2012, turning a long-held vision into reality. The vineyard sits between two of McLaren Vale’s historic sites, the original Upper Tintara vineyard planted in 1862 and the Hope Farm or Seaview vineyard established in the early 1850s.
