Produced by Henschke, Hill of Grace is widely regarded as one of Australia’s greatest “cult wines,” sourced from ancient, pre-phylloxera-era vines planted in the 1860s in the Eden Valley.
The 1986 vintage is especially celebrated for its balance of power and elegance. The growing season provided ideal ripening conditions, allowing old-vine Shiraz to develop deep concentration while retaining freshness and structure. Over nearly four decades of maturation, the wine has evolved into a complex and highly aromatic expression of mature Australian fine wine.
