The 2021 Yering Station Reserve Chardonnay 750ml is the flagship Chardonnay from Yering Station, produced only in outstanding vintages using the estate’s finest vineyard parcels in the Yarra Valley. Hand-picked and whole-bunch pressed, the wine is barrel fermented and matured in a selection of new and seasoned French oak, creating exceptional complexity and elegance. Aromas of white peach, nectarine, grapefruit zest and citrus blossom are layered with notes of nougat, almond meal, subtle vanilla spice and flinty minerality. The palate is beautifully textured, balancing vibrant stone fruit with creamy lees complexity, fine oak integration and crisp mineral acidity that leads to a long, refined finish. A sophisticated cool-climate Chardonnay with excellent ageing potential of 8–10 years.
