The 2023 Home Hill Estate Pinot Noir is a beautifully expressive cool-climate Pinot Noir from the Huon Valley in Tasmania. Produced from Home Hill’s estate vineyard, this wine captures the purity, freshness and depth that make Tasmanian Pinot Noir so distinctive.

Deep dark ruby in colour, the wine opens with enticing aromas of sweet red cherry, blackberry, boysenberry and forest floor. The palate is concentrated and well structured, with generous layers of ripe red and dark fruit complemented by chocolate, almond and subtle vanilla characters.

A small proportion of whole bunch fruit adds complexity and structure, while 10 months of maturation in French oak, including 20% new oak, contributes subtle spice and savoury depth. Fine, chalky tannins and balanced acidity provide freshness and definition, leading to a soft, silky palate and a long, elegant finish.

Refined yet generous, the 2023 Home Hill Estate Pinot Noir is an excellent example of premium Tasmanian Pinot Noir, combining vibrant fruit, savoury complexity, fine tannins and graceful length.
