The 2024 Alasia Moscato d’Asti DOCG is a lightly sparkling, low-alcohol sweet wine from the Asti region of Piedmont, Italy. Produced under strict DOCG regulations, Moscato d’Asti is celebrated for its fragrant aromatics, gentle effervescence, and naturally balanced sweetness.

The 2024 vintage reflects a classic Piedmont growing season, delivering healthy, aromatic Moscato Bianco grapes with excellent freshness and purity. Fermentation is intentionally stopped early to preserve natural grape sweetness and achieve a low alcohol level (typically around 5%), resulting in a wine that is both delicate and highly aromatic.

In the cellar, the wine is gently fermented in pressurised tanks to retain its natural CO₂, creating its signature soft, spritzy character. No oak is used, ensuring complete focus on varietal expression and freshness.

The bouquet is intensely perfumed and expressive, showing orange blossom, white peach, apricot, and ripe pear, layered with lifted notes of grape musk, honeysuckle, and citrus zest. Subtle floral tones of elderflower and jasmine add elegance and charm.

On the palate, the wine is light-bodied, gently sparkling, and delicately sweet, with vibrant flavours of peach, apricot, citrus, and ripe grape. The natural acidity balances the sweetness, keeping the wine fresh, clean, and highly drinkable.

The finish is soft, refreshing, and aromatic, lingering with notes of stone fruit, blossom, and gentle sweetness. Best enjoyed young and fresh, the 2024 Moscato d’Asti is perfect as an aperitif or paired with fruit-based desserts, light pastries, or soft cheeses.
