The 2024 Grosset Polish Hill Riesling is one of Australia’s most acclaimed Rieslings and a benchmark expression of Clare Valley terroir. Crafted by Grosset Wines, this iconic wine comes exclusively from the organically certified Polish Hill Vineyard, a unique site known for its high elevation, slate-rich soils, low yields, and exceptional capacity to produce Rieslings of remarkable purity, structure, and longevity.

The 2024 vintage delivered fruit of outstanding quality, combining intense flavour concentration with vibrant natural acidity. The season’s favourable conditions allowed for slow, even ripening, resulting in a wine that displays extraordinary precision, minerality, and finesse.

Produced using Grosset’s meticulous minimal-intervention philosophy, the fruit is hand-selected, gently pressed, and cool fermented to preserve its pristine aromatics and site expression. No oak is used, ensuring that the wine remains a pure reflection of vineyard and vintage.

The bouquet is intensely aromatic and finely detailed, revealing notes of lime blossom, lime zest, lemon juice, green apple, and white flowers, alongside hallmark characters of wet slate, crushed stone, and mineral freshness. The aromatics are tightly wound in youth but display impressive depth and complexity.

On the palate, the wine is dry, precise, and beautifully structured, with concentrated flavours of lime, lemon, green apple, and citrus pith supported by vibrant acidity and a striking mineral backbone. The texture is taut and linear, delivering remarkable focus and energy from start to finish.

The finish is exceptionally long, crisp, and saline, lingering with notes of lime zest, citrus blossom, slate, and mineral tension.
