The 2024 Vasse Felix Heytesbury Chardonnay is the flagship Chardonnay of Vasse Felix and one of Australia’s most revered white wines. Produced by Vasse Felix, the founding wine estate of Margaret River, Heytesbury Chardonnay represents the finest parcels selected from the estate’s premier vineyards and showcases the remarkable quality of this world-class wine region.

Named after the historic Heytesbury settlement in Western Australia, this iconic Chardonnay is crafted only from the most exceptional vineyard blocks and vintages. The 2024 release continues a long tradition of excellence, combining precision, purity, power, and elegance in a style that has earned acclaim from critics and collectors worldwide.

Fruit was sourced from mature vineyards across Margaret River, where the maritime climate and ancient gravelly soils provide ideal conditions for Chardonnay. Hand-harvested grapes were whole-bunch pressed and fermented in premium French oak barriques, with maturation on lees adding texture, complexity, and depth while preserving freshness and site expression.

The bouquet is intensely aromatic and refined, revealing layers of white peach, nectarine, grapefruit, lemon curd, and citrus blossom, complemented by notes of cashew, hazelnut, struck flint, oatmeal, and subtle spice. The wine displays remarkable aromatic complexity while maintaining exceptional purity.

On the palate, the wine is powerful yet beautifully restrained. Concentrated flavours of stone fruit, grapefruit, preserved lemon, and citrus zest are framed by vibrant natural acidity and a distinctive mineral backbone.
