The 2025 Scotchmans Hill Pinot Gris is a vibrant cool-climate white wine from the Bellarine Peninsula, crafted by the acclaimed Scotchmans Hill winery. Influenced by the maritime climate of Port Phillip Bay, the estate consistently produces Pinot Gris with bright fruit purity, refreshing acidity, and elegant texture.

The 2025 vintage enjoyed favourable growing conditions, with cool nights and warm, sunny days allowing the grapes to ripen slowly while retaining freshness and aromatic intensity. The fruit was harvested at optimal maturity to preserve its delicate varietal character and natural balance.

Winemaking focuses on preserving freshness and fruit expression. The grapes are gently pressed and cool fermented in stainless steel tanks, with a period of lees contact to enhance texture and mouthfeel while maintaining the wine’s crisp, vibrant profile.

The bouquet is fragrant and inviting, displaying aromas of Nashi pear, white peach, ripe apple, and citrus, complemented by delicate floral notes of honeysuckle and orange blossom. Hints of spice, quince, and fresh ginger provide additional complexity.
