Aberlour A’bunadh Batch 81 is a powerful and richly sherried Speyside Single Malt Scotch Whisky, bottled at natural cask strength for an intense and full-bodied drinking experience.

Meaning “the original” in Gaelic, A’bunadh pays tribute to Aberlour founder James Fleming and is crafted in the traditional style. Matured in Spanish Oloroso Sherry casks and bottled without chill filtration or alcohol reduction, each batch develops its own distinctive character while retaining the signature richness and depth of A’bunadh.

Batch 81 is bottled at an impressive 61.6% ABV. The nose is deep and aromatic, revealing spiced orange, rich Sherry, praline and warm baking spices. The palate is powerful and creamy, with layers of black cherry, dried fruit, ginger and dark chocolate supported by rich Oloroso Sherry and oak.

Despite its high strength, the whisky offers remarkable depth and balance. The finish is long and luscious, with lingering red fruit sweetness gradually giving way to bittersweet chocolate, exotic spice and oak.
