Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old Single Malt Scotch Whisky is the signature expression from Bunnahabhain Distillery on the northeast coast of Islay. Unlike many Islay malts, Bunnahabhain 12 is predominantly unpeated, allowing its rich fruit, nutty sweetness and subtle coastal character to take centre stage.

Matured in a combination of Bourbon and Sherry casks, the whisky develops a beautifully balanced profile of sweet fruit, roasted nuts, vanilla and gentle maritime influence. The nose is fresh and fruity, with notes of blackcurrant jam, vanilla and cloves, accompanied by a delicate hint of seaweed.

On the palate, rich Sherry character combines with roasted nuts, sweet malt and juicy sultanas. Warming spice gradually develops into velvety caramel, while a subtle coastal influence adds freshness and complexity.

The finish is long, lingering and full-bodied, with rich Sherry notes balanced by a gentle spray of sea salt. Its combination of sweetness, nuttiness and maritime character creates a distinctive and highly approachable interpretation of Islay Single Malt Scotch Whisky.

Bottled at 46.3% ABV, Bunnahabhain 12 Year Old is non-chill filtered and presented in its natural colour, preserving the character and texture of the spirit.
