Known for its distinctive balance of rich sweetness, warming spice and gentle aromatic peat smoke, it offers a beautifully rounded introduction to the unique whisky character of the Orkney Islands.

Matured predominantly in hand-selected first-fill Sherry-seasoned European and American oak casks, with additional refill casks adding balance, Highland Park 12 develops a rich combination of sweet fruit, honey, spice and subtle smoke.

The nose is fresh, clean and floral, with fragrant heather honey and bright citrus aromas. On the palate, sweet and spicy flavours unfold with toasted Seville orange, jasmine and richly spiced fruitcake, accompanied by a smooth malt character.

The signature Orkney heathered peat provides a gentle, aromatic smoke rather than an overpowering peatiness. This creates an elegant balance between honeyed sweetness, citrus freshness and subtle smoky depth.

The finish is long and warming, with peppery spice, woody notes and orange zest followed by a delicate lingering touch of aromatic peat smoke.
