Krug Grand Cuvée 173ème Edition Brut is a masterpiece of Champagne craftsmanship, representing the House of Krug’s pursuit of creating the finest expression of Champagne every single year, beyond the limitations of vintage variation. Crafted around the 2017 harvest, this exceptional cuvée is a harmonious blend of 150 individual wines from 13 different years, including reserve wines dating back to 2001, creating remarkable depth, richness and complexity.
Presented in an elegant gift box, this prestigious Champagne displays a radiant golden hue with a fine, persistent mousse. The nose reveals luxurious aromas of freshly baked brioche, toasted bread, stone fruits, vanilla pastry cream, citrus zest and delicate floral notes. On the palate, it is beautifully rich and creamy, offering layers of ripe peach, preserved citrus, roasted nuts and subtle toasted nuances, balanced by vibrant freshness and an exceptionally long, refined finish.
The 173ème Edition is composed of 44% Pinot Noir, 34% Chardonnay and 22% Meunier, with 31% reserve wines adding elegance, complexity and the signature generosity that defines Krug Grand Cuvée.
