The Balvenie 12 Year Old American Oak Single Malt Scotch Whisky 700mLÂ
The Balvenie 12 Year Old American Oak is a vibrant and approachable Speyside single malt Scotch whisky that showcases the distillery’s signature honeyed character alongside the influence of American oak casks. Matured in first-fill American oak barrels previously used for bourbon, this elegant expression highlights layers of vanilla, citrus, and sweet spice while maintaining The Balvenie’s renowned smoothness.
The nose is bright and inviting, offering aromas of sweet vanilla, honeycomb, citrus zest, and delicate oak. On the palate, it is smooth and creamy, revealing notes of candied orange, vanilla fudge, toasted coconut, and gentle baking spices. The American oak maturation brings freshness and sweetness, leading to a long, mellow finish with lingering honey and soft oak notes.
