Stewart MBE, this whisky is composed from an exceptional selection of rare casks aged for at least twenty-five years, primarily in American oak ex-bourbon barrels alongside European oak sherry casks. Rather than allowing a single cask style to dominate, the whisky is “married” in a traditional tun, enabling the components to harmonise and develop remarkable depth and cohesion. In the glass, it reveals a deep golden amber tone, reflecting both age and careful wood influence. The nose is elegant yet inviting, offering waves of honeyed sweetness layered with polished oak and delicate spice. On the palate, the whisky is luxuriously smooth, unveiling flavours of vanilla cream, baked orchard fruits, and gentle cinnamon wrapped in a velvety texture.
