Includes 15% whole bunch fruit with aging taking place in French oak puncheons of which 20% were new. Deep dark red core with black shaded edges and a red to dark red hue. Elevated violet, dark cherry and anise aromas drift out of the glass followed by some dried herb, forest floor and spice. Juicy dark cherry and strawberry fruits fill the mouth with notions of anise, earth, dried herbs and spicy cedar lying underneath. Fleshy mouth feel and polished tannins with a ripe dark fruited conclusion. Drink over the next 3-4 years. Alc. 13.5%

Lovely unforced feel to this wine. Fragrant with bergamot, red cherry, a little spice and a mulchy earthy character. It’s lush and quietly juicy, a little orange peel punctuates the squishy red fruits, with fine silty tannin, and a succulent finish with a smattering of amaro herb and tang. Lovely drink. Good now, too. Drink 2021-2027+ 93 Points Gary Walsh â€?The Wine Front
