Aged in a mix of French and American barriques for up to 18 months, this wine maintains its inky black dark red core with a very dark red-black tinged hue. The nose is aromatic, with dominant ripe blackcurrant scents, leather, light cedar cigar box, earth, and spice notes. Rich and lively, it features abundant blackcurrant fruit with mulberry nuances, leather, cedar cigar box, earth, and spice. The wine offers a supple mouthfeel with velvety smooth tannins and a long aftertaste of blackcurrant, leather, cedar cigar box, earth, and spice.
