Crafted from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Petit Verdot, and Cabernet Franc, this wine aged for about 30 months in French oak, 55% new. A testament to the 2007 Margaret River vintage, it boasts an opaque dark red-black hue. The refined nose offers aromas of violets, blackcurrant, spice, cedar, and a hint of tobacco. Medium to full-bodied, it showcases elegance, finesse, and power on the palate. Ripe blackcurrant, spice, and mulberry flavors merge with cedar and cigar box notes, creating a seamless integration with remarkable depth and persistence. Velvet-smooth tannins lead to an exceptionally long, refined finish of cassis, spice, mulberry, and cedar. Alcohol content: 14.5%. Tasted in 2010.
