Holding prized grand cru plots, including the sought-after Clos Saint-Jacques premier cru vineyard, Rousseau crafts wines of unparalleled distinction.

Drinking Window: 2020-2050

Vineyard Notes: Situated in the upper part of Clos de Bèze, the domaine's parcels boast stony, limestone-rich soil. The top of the Clos features Bathonien calcerous clay, transitioning to crinodial limestone and marl from the Bajocian age halfway down. This diverse soil composition imparts complexity to the grapes unevenly.

Producer Notes: This complex wine, with deep color and a prolonged finish, exhibits smoothness and finesse. Aromas are rich with dominant notes of red berries and oriental spices.
