2012 Sami-Odi “Baby Tui” Shiraz 750ml is a rare, small-batch Barossa Valley wine crafted by Fraser McKinley. Produced from a selection of the estate’s most prized barrels, this vintage celebrates the birth of the winemaker’s daughter and showcases fruit sourced exclusively from the historic Hoffmann “Dallwitz” vineyard, including old vines dating back to pre-1912 plantings.
Made in extremely limited quantities (just over 4,000 bottles), it reflects a meticulous, hands-on approach with a focus on purity, balance, and site expression.
In the glass, it displays a deep, насыщенный ruby-purple colour with complex aromas of ripe plum, black olive, earth, and subtle game. The palate is rich and layered, offering dark fruit, savoury spice, and chocolatey nuances, supported by silky texture and finely structured tannins.
Full-bodied yet refined, this Shiraz delivers both power and elegance, with excellent ageing potential and a long, lingering finish. A highly collectible Australian cult wine, ideal for cellaring or special occasions.
