One of most celebrated crowning jewels of Australia’s world renowned wine industry, Penfolds Grange collection combines multiple vineyard and district blending techniques into the kind of tasting experience we’d label as a libation of the gods. A championing example of this is Penfolds Grange Bin 95 vintage 2016. This decadently dark shiraz wine unfolds in swirls of aromatic depth highlighted by fleshed fruits and star anise spices. The palate is intricately enrobed in deep drafts of sun-dried figs and black soy paired with more bursts of anise and equally wondrous hints of perfectly aged tannins for a final note of dark fruit kisses just off the tail end.

Critic tasting note: "From a solid vintage in South Australia, this wine seamlessly weaves together notes of Italian plum, black cherry, mocha, cigar box and a plethora of herbs and spices. The palate is chiseled, all rippling, glistening muscles, but without the top heaviness. Ultrafine tannins cinch vibrant fruit while that cigar box element lingers on the lengthy finish.
