The wine is a selection of the best barrels from multiple old vineyards to make a wine of complexity and collectability—opaque purple with bright hues. Dark blackberry fruit, bitter chocolate and liquorice are aromas of dark blackberry fruit and liquorice bound by high-quality French oak. Rich and full on the front of the palate with black cherry and dark berry fruit on the middle palate. The finish is long and well-structu heralding a great wine with substantial ageing potential—cellar potential...15+ years.
