Home Block is an award-winning Cabernet Sauvignon, produced from vines surrounding the Tocaciu family home. It is a single vineyard parcel grown on terra rossa soil from vines planted in 1960. Home Block was the first wine that Pat released for the family business. MATURATION: 2 years in French & American, tightly grained, medium toast oak barriques (60% new). Aged in bottle for an additional 2 years in the Patrick Cellars. These techniques ensure this wine is complex. Further cellaring potential: 15 yrs.
