Impenetrable inky black colour with a very deep black dark red hue. Potent black plum, black cherry and aniseed aromas waft out of the glass followed by vanillin oak, hints of dark chocolate and spicy fennel. Big, ripe and opulent the full bodied palate is lavishly endowed with liquorice, black plum and luscious black cherry fruits. Lying underneath is vanillin oak, fennel and spice. Velvet smooth tannins with some light heat shading the long flamboyant finish.
