The Clarendon Hills Liandra Syrah vineyard lies in McLaren Vale’s Blewitt Springs sub-region, within a sandy area renowned for its distinctiveness. This site produces a mid-weight Syrah that reveals its character beautifully after a few years of cellaring. With lifted floral aromas, complemented by notes of bacon fat, leather, and roasted meats, the wine has a core of ripe satsuma plum and a silky texture. While it’s approachable in its youth, it also promises extended cellaring potential to develop the earthy, truffled qualities that wine enthusiasts love.
