The J.F.R. Shiraz is a blend of three premium McLaren Vale vineyards: Piebald Gully, Gateway Vineyard and Martins Vineyard.
Full flavoured with juicy dark red berries, hints of spice, earth, tar and leather, with seamlessly integrated oak. Mouthcoating tannins are apparent but not overwhelming, meaning this is a wine which can be enjoyed now or in the next 15 years.

It’s winemaker Ben Riggs oversees the continual evolution of his premium wines, utilising distinctive regional parcels of fruit from the McLaren Vale, Adelaide Hills and Coonawarra. “The aim of all Mr. Riggs wines is to express the essence of the vineyard and varieties, in a style that Ben enjoys drinking.
The Latin phrase Dum Vivo Cano taken from Riggs family crest, translates to While alive, Celebrate. This has been Ben's life-long philosophy and continues to be a benchmark to which he lives by.�Relish the big events, but be sure to enjoy the steps along the way.
