The maker was inspired by the textural and food-friendly marsannes he made when working at Domaine Jean Louis Chave in the Rhône Valley in 2010. He captures the grape's warmth and complexity easily in a good year like 2021. An array of ripe scents and flavours in citrus, peach, spiced apple, mandarin skin, apricot kernel, with honeysuckle and jasmine florals. Skin contact has contributed to the wine's gentle creaminess and almond-nougat light savouriness. Delicious.
