The Age of Light represents our finest Cabernet Sauvignon, crafted only in exceptional vintages as deemed by our winemakers. From the "Kids Cabernet" block behind our winery, planted in 2017 with Bordeaux clones 169 & 337, this wine is extremely limited, just 120 dozen produced. The 2021 vintage was exceptional, marked by cool, dry Barossa conditions yielding reds and whites of outstanding quality. Fermented in open fermenters and aged in French oak barriques, it boasts a youthful purple-crimson appearance, with a bouquet of blackberries, mulberries, and cherries complemented by charry oak. Full-bodied on the palate, it features black cherries, vanilla, and leather, with robust oak and tannins in its youth that will integrate beautifully with cellaring. Perfectly paired with roast lamb.
