Brilliant Ruby in colour with a bright cherry and violet nose, the Scooter is tantalising from the outset. The first sip fills the palate with intense red fruit like raspberries and fresh plum. As these vibrant flavours continue to develop on the palate, soft tannins complement notes of mocha cream and dried herbs making this an absolute treat.

TECHNICAL NOTES:

The grapes were grown on the Long Gully Road vineyard in McLaren Vale. Barrel fermented and matured in 96% American and 4% French oak, using 32% new, 43% one year old and 25% two year old barrels. The required Marquis Fruit Weight? for the Lefty Series is 65% ¨C 75%. The Actual Fruit Weight for 2020 The Scooter is 66%.
