The 2023 Craggy Range Te Muna Road Pinot Noir is a benchmark Martinborough expression, sourced from the estate’s high-elevation vineyards renowned for their cool climate and stony soils. This vintage highlights purity, finesse, and the distinctive character of Te Muna terroir.
The bouquet is fragrant with red cherry, raspberry, and wild strawberry, lifted by notes of rose petal, spice, and subtle oak. On the palate, it is silky and elegant, offering vibrant red fruit, fine tannins, and layers of earth and mineral complexity. The finish is long and graceful, showcasing both delicacy and persistence.
Serving & Cellaring:
An ideal companion to duck, lamb, or mushroom risotto. Beautifully expressive now, it will continue to evolve with finesse over the next 8–12 years.
