2023 Frankland Estate Isolation Ridge Riesling 750ml

Following tradition, we aged this wine on lees for nine months post-fermentation, embracing the texture and personality it imparts. This process accentuates delicate flinty ironstone notes, woven seamlessly into the wine’s mouthfeel. About 10% of the wine matured in barrels from our old ‘Pole’ and ‘Outback’ blocks, enhancing its complexity. In recent years, we’ve slightly extended ripeness at harvest, achieving a "resolved" acidity that integrates smoothly.
