The Shaw & Smith M3 Vineyard Chardonnay stands as a regional icon of Adelaide Hills winemaking, crafted by the acclaimed duo Martin Shaw and Michael Hill Smith. Elegantly styled, mid-weight, and decidedly modern, this Australian classic has garnered a devoted following among chardonnay enthusiasts.
"Light, bright yellow hue with a subtle hint of smoky reduction on the citrusy bouquet. The palate is delicate and refined, showcasing lemon, grapefruit, malt biscuit, a touch of fresh oak, and a long, balanced finish." – Huon Hooke
The 2024 vintage features fruit hand-picked from Lenswood, Piccadilly, and Lobethal vineyards. Whole-bunch pressed and fermented, it matures on lees in premium French oak barrels for nine months.
