Pale straw with green tints. Aromas of green apple, citrus blossom, lime zest and sherbet with underlying hints of pink grapefruit, lilly pilly and bath salts. The palate is underpinned by a refreshing drive of natural acidity that is in lovely balance with generous fruit flavours of citrus curd, fresh lemon and lime zest and a slatey, textured finish that is typical of Heggies vineyard
Tasting note:
This carefully tended vineyard with its manicured rows of vines and innovative viticultural practices, is a stark contrast to the windblown, surrounding hills, the towering eucalypts and rocky granite outcrops. Heggies is an estate where 'terroir' showcases wines of fine mineralities, flavour and balance.
