The aromatic essence of an English country garden, complemented by hints of Tasmanian brush, imparts an evocative quality to Domaine A Cabernet Sauvignon. Originating from the Stony Vineyard, the oldest in the Coal River Valley, this wine serves as a unique and polarizing counterpoint to the mainstream cabernets of Australia's mainland. Aged in new French oak barriques for 24 to 36 months, the wine is characterized by violet, rose, and blackcurrant notes, fine-grained tannins, inky textures, and a persistent mineral length.
