Unlike Penfolds Grange, RWT is matured exclusively in French oak, creating a plush, opulent style with exceptional elegance and balance.
The 2020 vintage opens with captivating aromas of dark forest berries, blackberry, satsuma plum, and dark cherry, complemented by notes of violets, vanilla bean, tobacco leaf, warm spices, and subtle French oak. The palate is rich and velvety, offering concentrated black fruit flavours layered with dark chocolate, mocha, spice, and fine-grained tannins.
