The 2026 Henschke Peggy’s Hill Eden Valley Riesling is a vibrant, finely etched cool-climate white wine from one of Australia’s most respected family wineries, Henschke. It showcases the purity, tension, and mineral precision that have made Eden Valley Riesling one of Australia’s benchmark white wine styles.

Sourced from long-established Eden Valley vineyards (many between 10–70 years old), the 2026 vintage reflects a cool, even growing season that preserved natural acidity and aromatic intensity. The wine is fermented in stainless steel and bottled early to retain freshness, purity, and expressive citrus character.

The bouquet is lifted and highly aromatic, showing lime zest, lemon blossom, citrus oil, jasmine, and green apple, layered with delicate notes of white peach, talc, chalk, and wet stone minerality. These aromas are precise, clean, and classically Eden Valley in profile.

On the palate, the wine is dry, crisp, and tightly structured, driven by vibrant natural acidity. Flavours of lime juice, lemon sherbet, green apple, and finger lime are balanced by a fine mineral backbone that gives the wine its signature “steely” tension.
