The 2022 Glaetzer-Dixon Rêveur Pinot Noir is a distinctive cool-climate Pinot Noir from Southern Tasmania’s Coal Valley. Crafted from fruit sourced from two exceptional vineyards, Rêveur showcases the depth, richness and elegance that define Glaetzer-Dixon’s approach to Tasmanian Pinot Noir.

The wine opens with lifted aromas of dark plum, old-school maraschino cherry and mixed spice, with further layers of red cherry, subtle savoury notes and spice adding complexity. On the palate, the fruit is rich, vibrant and generous, with a supple, fleshy texture balanced by fine acidity and beautifully refined tannins.

Fermented with 55% whole bunches and wild yeast, the wine was matured for 22 months in French oak, including 20% new oak, before being bottled unfiltered. The extended maturation adds depth, savoury complexity and subtle oak spice while allowing the vibrant fruit character to remain at the centre.

Rich yet elegant, textured yet fresh, the 2022 Rêveur Pinot Noir finishes with velvety tannins, balanced acidity and impressive length. A sophisticated Tasmanian Pinot Noir with both immediate appeal and excellent cellaring potential.
