The 2023 Grosset Springvale Riesling is a benchmark expression of Clare Valley Riesling, showcasing the purity, precision and mineral character for which Grosset is renowned.

Sourced from the Grosset Springvale Vineyard in Watervale, the vineyard sits on thin red loam over limestone with ancient slate bedrock beneath. The site is certified organic and biodynamic, and the fruit is carefully grown to express the distinctive character of the vineyard.

The wine opens with gentle lime and lemongrass aromas, followed by pristine flavours of lemon and lime. The 2022 vintage offers impressive concentration and generosity, bringing extra weight and intensity while maintaining the finesse, freshness and precision expected from Grosset.

On the palate, it is dry, vibrant and beautifully focused, with bright acidity and a fine chalky texture. Mineral freshness and citrus-driven fruit carry through to a long, persistent finish.
