The 2024 Scotchmans Hill Sauvignon Blanc is a vibrant cool-climate white wine from the Bellarine Peninsula, crafted by the acclaimed Scotchmans Hill winery. Benefiting from the maritime influence of Port Phillip Bay, the estate consistently produces Sauvignon Blanc with exceptional freshness, aromatic purity, and lively natural acidity.

The 2024 vintage experienced a long, cool growing season that allowed the grapes to develop intense varietal character while preserving crisp acidity. Harvested in the cool of the morning, the fruit was gently pressed and fermented at low temperatures in stainless steel tanks to maximise freshness and preserve the vibrant fruit profile.

The bouquet is bright and intensely aromatic, displaying passionfruit, gooseberry, lime zest, and grapefruit, complemented by notes of fresh-cut grass, lemongrass, and fragrant herbs. Delicate hints of green apple, guava, and citrus blossom provide additional complexity.

On the palate, the wine is light-bodied, crisp, and refreshingly vibrant, offering flavours of tropical fruit, citrus, gooseberry, and green apple. The lively acidity creates excellent balance, while the clean mineral backbone adds precision and length.

The finish is fresh, zesty, and persistent, with lingering notes of lime, grapefruit, passionfruit, and subtle herbaceous freshness.
